Huawei Technologies, a China-based
global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions
provider, recently announced the commercial launch of a new plug and
link datacard, the HiLink E303Cs in India. It connects users to the
Internet in just 15 seconds after the insertion of the data card into
the USB port.
“Huawei
is committed to providing Indian consumers with products that feature
ease of use and optimal user experience. With customers at the heart of
our strategy, we have been at the forefront of datacard development with
industry-leading technologies and product form factors. Leveraging
revolutionary 4th generation data card technology, the HiLink series is
poised to change the data card industry landscape. The HiLink technology
is the result of more than one year of dedicated research and
development and we believe that it will not only enhance consumers’ user
experience, it will also enable operators to reduce backend development
and maintenance costs and speed up UI customization, enhancing the
competitiveness of their products.” - Shanxin, President, Huawei Device
India, said at its launching.
Last year in August, Huawei unveiled another plug and link datacard, called the HiLink E353,
in India. It has been available in the market since the third quarter
of 2011. HiLink E303Cs will be available in India from July 2012
onwards, via telecom and PC stores, as well as online channels. HiLink
E303Cs is priced at an MRP of Rs. 2,199.
