Nokia has started building up hype for its forthcoming Nokia World Event and has placed massive banners outside its shuttered Nokia Store in Helsinki announcing 'something amazing is coming' on September 7. It's notable Nokia World is scheduled to be held in the same city on September 5 and 6.

Google has added a new face blurring feature into YouTube in an effort to provide visual anonymity for video on the network. Google says the new feature has been added following a recent observation from human rights group called WITNESS that no social networking site offers such technology.

Sony's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Xperia Neo L is now up for pre-order in India via online shopping site Flipkart. Priced at Rs. 18,499, the Xperia Neo is likely to be released in the fourth week of July. Sony hasn't officially announced the phone in India yet.

Mozilla  released an updated version of its Firefox browser that has a focus on security.With Firefox 14, Mozilla will automatically encrypt searches conducted via Google's search engine in the browser's location bar, search box, or the right-click menu.
