After overhauling its search engine Bing, Microsoft is set to revamp its popular Hotmail email service. According to leaked screenshots posted by LiveSide, the revamped Hotmail is already ready and looks more in tune with the Metro-styled Windows 8.
At WWDC 2012, Apple showcased the next iteration of OS X called Mountain Lion. The OS is said to have more than 200 new features. Users who have Lion or Snow Leopard will be able to upgrade to Mountain Lion for $19.99 (Rs. 1,120 approx.). Customers who pick up new Macs will get a free upgrade to the new OS.
A survey conducted by Nielsen reveals that 71 million or approximately 8 per cent of more than 900 million mobile users in India use multiple SIM cards. The survey says cities with population between 5-10 lakh have the highest density of multiple SIM users, which is about 21 percent. About 11 percent of multiple SIM users are based out of towns with 40-lakh population. Only 9 percent of users belong to rural areas, says the survey.

HTC's entry-level Android smartphone, Desire C, is now available in India via online retailer buytheprice at Rs. 14,299. HTC, however, has not made an official announcement regarding an India launch yet. HTC recently introduced its dual-SIM Android smartphone, Desire V, in India.
