Google has recently unveiled the next and latest update for their very own Android mobile operating system with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in Google I/O 2012 conference.
Along with Jelly Bean update, they also unveiled the new Nexus 7 tablet, the platform lead device for the new OS, and Google's hope to take on theiPad and Kindle Fire.

One of the first things Microsoft did when drawing up plans for Windows 8, its hybrid tablet/desktop operating system, was to include an app store that mirrored Apple's wildly successful iTunes App Store. The Windows Store is where Windows 8 users can get the "Metro-style" apps—full screen, highly touch input friendly apps that use a consistent, intuitive interface. Microsoft even detailed terms for the developers were more generous than Apple's.

At Google’s annual event, Google I/O 2012, Google announced that two of its best products and services, the Chrome browser and Google Drive would be available for the iOS platform.
For starters the app is live and available for download from the Apple App Store - those interested can download it for free here.
The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
