0 Google's Drive: Better package than the rivals?

The cloud storage battles have clearly begun. Microsoft has fired a salvo by making SkyDrive more accessible with fresh additions to the desktop and smartphone app range. The Redmond giant has had this cloud storage service active for quite a few years now,






 but didn’t really bother much with it till just recently. Not only the series of apps, but even the space structure has been changed. Till now, every user had 25GB free space, but that has now been chopped to 7GB. We are sure Microsoft knew what Google was coming up with, and tweaked the offering in accordance. However, existing users can still claim a free upgrade to 25GB for a limited time. We did!

0 Nokia Asha 202 launched in India at Rs. 4,149

Nokia has launched another Asha phone in India. The new Asha 202 is a dual-SIM touch-type phone priced at Rs. 4,149.




Running on Nokia's Series 40 operating system, the Nokia Asha 202 features a 2.4 inch resistive touchscreen ( 320 x 240 pixels) with a traditional alpha-numeric keypad. It has an internal storage of 10MB, expandable up to 32GB via micro-SD card. The Asha 202 has a 1,020 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 5 hours of 2G talk time. It has Bluetooth as well.

0 Indian Railway plans satellite-based software to track train movement

The Indian Railway is planning to deploy a satellite-based tracking software to record precise details about the movement of trains on its network. The proposed software will be backed up by SIMRAN ( Satellite Imaging for Rail Navigation), for which a pilot project is underway in 18 pairs of important trains such as Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto. The Railways plans to roll out the new service for all trains in next 18 months.



"With the approval of this system on a stretch of 3,300 kilometres to cover the entire high density stations, a major step has been taken towards train's safety, said Vinay Mittal, Chairman, Railway Board.

1 Airtel Digital TV Recorder gets 500GB storage

Airtel has announced that the Digital TV HD Recorder will now come with a 500GB hard drive. This is an upgrade from the 320GB drive DVR version that was in the market till now.
