0 Government withdraws ban on bulk SMSes and MMSes

The government has lifted its restriction on bulk SMSes and MMSes with immediate effect. It's notable that the ban has been revoked a day before the stipulated 15-day deadline of August 31. The move is a huge respite for millions of pre-paid mobile users, who were restricted from sending more than 20 SMSes a day in the wake of the NE situation.

Samsung’s pre-IFA 2012 press conference held a lot of announcements, ranging from Android and Windows Phone 8 smartphones, to Windows 8 and RT tablets.
The Android smartphone Samsung introducedwas the massive 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II, about which you can find more details here. The Korean giant also announced the world’s first Windows Phone 8 device, the Samsung ATIV S. The news is quite surprising, as the industry was expectingNokia (because of their exclusive partnership with Microsoft), to be the first company to reveal a Windows Phone 8 device, at their September 5 press conference.

Following the footsteps of Facebook, Google has also added birthday reminders on its social networking website, Google+. The reminder will appear on the right hand side of the main Google search page when someone in your contacts is celebrating his/her birth anniversary.
