0 Apple to unleash OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion

Apple’s latest desktop operating system, OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion will launch in the U.S. on the 25th of July. It’s already the 25th of July in India and if you log on to the Mac App store to download it, it won't be visible to you. You can check the App Store once the clock hits 25th July in the U.S. The OS will cost customers $19.99 (Rs. 1,125 approx.).



If you have purchased your Mac in the past few weeks, then the OS update will be free for you.

0 YouTube asks users to post real names for commenting

YouTube has been long criticised for having a poor commenting system with its number of videos being flooded with meaningless, stupid and racist rants. Google has finally decided to do something about it. The video sharing network will now seek your real name before posting any comment on the site.



When any user attempts to comment on a video, a box pops up asking the person to post real and full name. The full name further directs user to Google+ accounts as Google requires the real name of someone signing up for a Google+ account.

0 More Indians access Facebook via mobile phones

The number of Indian users accessing Facebook via mobile phones has significantly increased over the years, reveals a top official of the social networking site.



Facebook India director-online operations Kirthiga Reddy says that India, also the second largest Facebook nation, has grown from eight million mobile users to 50 million users, as the social networking site has evolved as one of the most effective tools for communication on the go.

0 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean may come soon on the Samsung Galaxy S II and S III

Samsung may introduce Google’s latest OS not only in its current flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S III but in the Galaxy S II as well.



According to sammobile.com, the Samsung Galaxy S III will get the Jelly Bean update soon and that Samsung is testing the 4.1 OS on the S II as well. The 4.1 update for the S III is expected to roll out in August/September 2012. The blog also goes on to say that the first tests with Jelly Bean on the S II have shown successful results.
