Nokia has launched the Asha 308 dual-SIM touch phone in India and is available from its online store at Rs. 5,685.  The Asha 308 is the latest addition to Nokia's Asha Touch family of mobile devices.


Nokia had unveiled the Asha 308 last month along with a single-SIM variant called the Asha 309. The Nokia Asha 308 features a 3-inch capacitive display, a 2MP camera and microSD card slot. The phone runs on Nokia’s S40 full-touch interface. For connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth and EDGE/GPRS.

Speaking at Stanford University, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that if his website had failed to pick up, he’d have gone over to Microsoft to work as an engineer. What’s not clear is whether he already had an offer or had hoped that the Redmond giant would hire him.


Zuckerberg did bring up the Harvard connection though, as a lot of Harvard graduates want to work for Microsoft. It could also be the fact that both Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg were Harvard dropouts.

0 Nokia India unveils Lumia 510, a budget Windows Phone 7.5 device

Nokia India has introduced a new Windows Phone 7.5-based smartphone, called the Lumia 510. Priced at $199 (expected to be below Rs. 11,000 in India), the Nokia Lumia 510 is expected to hit the Indian market around Diwali next month.


Speaking of specifications, the Lumia 510 sports a 4-inch WVGA 800 x 480 TFT display, Snapdragon S1 processor and 256MB of RAM. The device comes with built-in 4GB storage and 256MB of RAM. There's no expansion slot, sadly. However, Nokia compensates it with 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage.
