0 Micromax unveils dual-SIM Ninja 2 A56 smartphone

Micromax has announced another Android-based budget smartphone called the Superfone Ninja 2 A56. The new Micromax smartphone is said to be an improved version of its Superfone Ninja A50, which was launched in April this year. Micromax has not yet revealed the official launch date, but it has disclosed the specifications and pricing.

Priced at Rs. 5,999, the Micromax Ninja 2 A56 is a dual-SIM (GSM + CDMA) smartphone. The device runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm processor. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 3MP rear camera, as well as a gravity and ambient light sensor. The device comes with sports 512MB of ROM along with 256MB of RAM. It has a 1,400mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 4.5 hours of talktime and 180 hours of standby time.
For connectivity, the device supports 3G, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and WAP. The Micromax Ninja 2 A56 comes preloaded with various apps such as WhatsApp, TOI, Facebook, Google Play and other Google applications. Check out the full specifications of the Micromax Ninja 2 A56here.

Micromax has launched quite a few budget smartphones in its Superfone series. It recently launched Superfone A45 Punk, a 3-inch touch phone at Rs. 5,499. 
The manufacturer recently launched a budget dual-SIM phone in its Superfone series called,A52. The Micromax A52 is also based on Android and features AISHA.
